The Bull Bar and Brasserie, situated at 57-59 Bell Street, in the very heart of Henley-on-Thames, features an-upmarket bar and restaurant established on the seven hundred year old site of one of the oldest pubs in the town. Having had a thorough refurbishment in the Spring of 2006, the new Bull Bar and Brasserie opened its doors on the 24th June to offer a great selection of food and drink.

The interior of the The Bull is contemporary and fresh, whilst still preserving many period features. All of the traditional beams have been lovingly restored and limed, as has the giant fireplace in the main bar which forms a welcoming centre-piece.

Since October 2006, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at The Bull have become Henley's premier showcase for live music talent, featuring all of Henley's finest talent with special guests from all over the UK.  Regular performers include J.J., Jamie Bruce, Vince Freeman, Paul Harvey, Steve Jones and John James Newman.

There are three key ‘zones' of the Bull

The Bar

With its slick modern appearance and supremely comfortable cow hide chairs and solid beech tables this is a great place for a chilled pint of lager, real ale or excellent wine; the raised seating area at the back of the bar, with its deep comfortable sofas, offers an ideal place to relax with intimate friends.  Or perhaps you just wish for a little solitude to read the daily newspapers and magazines provided.

The Atrium Restaurant

This is a bright, welcoming, stylish and informal dining space with its booth seating and natural stone floors; the tables in the booths can even be joined together so that you create a great place to celebrate a special occasion with friends.

The Timbered Room

A beautiful old dining/party room with wonderful exposed beams and wooden floors – it is a warm and special place and is available for private hire for conferences and private parties.
